QUALITY OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLE PRODUCE

The quality of “green” produce depends on the following four factors:

  • Assortment: the variety of fruit and vegetables determines their look and taste of the produce;
  • Agricultural production conditions: climate, soil and growing conditions have a direct effect on the quality and taste of the produce;
  • Harvesting and packaging conditions: it is not enough to just grow good produce; it is equally important to keep it fresh for as long as possible. The quality of harvesting, grading and packaging are the primary factors affecting the taste and flavor of the produce over the storage term;
  • Maintaining optimum transportation and storage conditions at the producers’ and importers’ warehouses.

To make sure our customers get best quality products throughout the season, we control every stop of “green” produce delivery from the farmers’ plantations to the distributor’s warehouse.

STORAGE OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLE PRODUCE

To keep fruit and vegetables fresh as long as possible, TAJIK Product warehouses are run at appropriate lighting and humidity levels. Different storage temperatures are used for different products.

Fruit and vegetables can be divided into two large groups:

  • the first group is best stored at +1..+3°C;
  • the second group requires warmer temperatures (+3..+7°C)

Proper storage preserves vitamins, maintains healthy qualities and attractive look of the produce throughout its storage life. Thanks to strict control of all of these factors, our produce remains fresh and great-looking.

PACKAGING, STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION

TAJIK Product offers special polyethylene packaging for long-term storage of fruit and vegetables. The Company products are sold throughout Tajikistan and the Central Asia.

The company offers produces several key types of products:

  • packaging paper for transportation and long-term storage of round purple grapes;
  • packaging paper for transportation and long-term storage of green seedless grapes;
  • packaging paper for long-term storage and preserving freshness of grapes;
  • inserts for preserving freshness of grapes in plastic film (new “green” technologies);
  • chemicals for quick-drying grapes, plastic bags for preserving freshness and special absorbent paper to preserve high quality of grapes;
  • Envelopes for transporting grapes;
  • Bags for storage and transportation of all types of fruit and vegetables, which substantially increase produce quality and shelf life.
